The best way to learn surf is try and do it, it’s like most sport. You will get a lot of fun, get some in great exercise, and learning something new during learning to surf due to is fantastic. We must have a lot of skills and decipline to ride the great wave. If you are a beginner, you'll ever get is to learn not to be scared of the ocean perhaps the first piece of advise.

The Beach

You should concern the location of surf spot before doing surf. Type of beach is the most important consideration for beginner to catch their first wave.  A crowded beach with aggressive wave should be a very different experience for a beginner. A less frequented waves with sandy bottom and slow is good for a begiiner surfer. Perfect beach with the perfect waves is the beach you must find. If the wave are dud, of course you will can not surf. You have to pick your beache wisely.

Your Surfboard

If you're a beginner, Longboard is the best surf board to start learning surfing. Your first board should be wide, thick, floaty, soft and round likes long board and fun board or mini Malibu board. They are very stable so standing up will be possible within one or two attempts. The more you added your skills in surfing, then you can upgrade your surfboard to something a bit more compact, and made of fiberglass like short board and fish board.

One must you remember when you learn to surf. You do not attempt to learn how to stand on your board as soon as you hit the water before you can handle and control your board. Try get your balance on board for the first, feel the board on your body and communicated with the water. Learn this until you perfect. Then you can learn to stand on your board. Don’t forget learn how to paddle in surf. Paddling will help you to catch the perfect wave and get you to gout  to the great waves. Paddling in surf must be quicly learn by beginner cause is very important. If you don’t have ability to paddle on surf, you will never catch a wave, but more than likely never even get to the line up.

Always surf with a partner, who is helpful, both as a spotter, and for safety purposes.
